FORMULA 10.0.6 - Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask

Description: Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool Breakout Calming Mask is a unique gel mask that instantly reduces the appearance of nasty breakouts. Peppermint purifies and refreshes to calm even the most angry of flare-ups, while soothing coconut relieves blemishes. The result? Skin is cool, calm and under control. Apply to freshly cleansed and dried skin. Smooth a thin layer over your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave for up to 5 minutes allowing the mask to absorb into the skin. Finish by gently massaging gel into skin and blot off any excess with a tissue. This 5-minute mask is gentle enough to be used daily to instantly soothe and relieve skin. Perfect to wear under make-up.

Review: I am a big fan of Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Mudmask  so when I was in desperate need of a quick mask the words reduces the appearance of breakouts really caught my eye as I needed a quick fix. The formula of a gel mask also intrigued me to buy this product.
My liking towards this gentle mask reaches to a halt once I applied this mask, once  a thin layer is covering my face the gel becomes cool against my skin and it begins to tingle due to the peppermint. From experience of several applications I begin to realize that it started to become an uncomfortable sensation. Improvements stated on the packaging is very minimal and doesn't stop or lessen the breakouts. Other than that, it hasn't done much. I won't be purchasing this mask again.

My Rating: 2/5

INGLOT COSMETICS - Long & Curly Mascara

Description: Water resistant, smudge proof, quick drying and long lasting, this mascara separates each eyelash with maximum extension without clumping or globing.

Review: Following my IMATS trip I collected this little beauty from the INGLOT stand. The way the products were displayed and available to test was definitely something that I love. The black packaging brings forth a sense of sophistication and simplistically that I absolutely adore, giving it a rich appeal to the eye. This mascara was specifically designed to create long and curly lashes, a factor that drew me in instantly without a doubt. Being the type of girl that typically likes the natural everyday look this caught my eye even further. I purchased this for around $16 AUD.
The wand is straight and long, which is different to other mascaras that I have previously owned. The surprise I got from one coat of mascara with curled eyelashes was amazing. Do apply another generous coat if needed! Definitely note that this has more of a wet formula which may droop eyelashes throughout the day. I tested this mascara to work which survived the humid weather and discovered  that there was no smudges underneath my eyes and the mascara looked exactly as it did when I first applied it.
It gives minimum clumps due to the bristles and I don't want to express how much I dislike clumpy looking lashes, that's just my opinion.
This is one of my favorite everyday mascaras. I definitely recommend.

My Rating: 4/5

IMATS Sydney 2013

If someone asked me if I knew what IMATS was a couple of months ago, I would of said no. That wasn't until I started following and watching beauty gurus that I somehow caught an addiction. It wasn't long before I was influenced in a "good" way, that I have stepped out of my bubble and reached into the world of beauty.
During the Sydney IMATS I was pleased to meet a couple of the Australian/NZ beauty gurus, which I would like to say are absolutely gorgeous and are soo nice in person. The collection of makeup that were available were discounted to the point where I was wondering if I was going to go home needing to grab a trolley from a supermarket. The display of makeup works were amazing, something I definitely call talent. Overall, it was an experience that I loved and would be visiting again next year.

Check out some of the Australian beauty gurus: saturdaynightsalrite, DOMMsmiles, shaaanxo, lozcurtis and chloemorello.

A Visit To The Beach

The experience of going to the beach was something that I have personally long  pushed and avoided for the previous year. Without a doubt, my family were always beach goers along with fishing trips that were classified as family days. I didn't realize what I was missing until I actually got to experience this wonderful trip to the beach with my friends until so recently.
From the first sensation of the golden sand particles pricking between my toes to that wind swept hair aftermath. It was a day of relaxation and was a stress reliever from the past two weeks that was jam-packed with exams.
I did however love the sun rays that caught my skin and gave it a nice tan. I also enjoyed the environment that gave a calming effect especially the waves and the clear glistening water. It's funny how I enjoyed every bit of this day, I think it was due to being away from my hectic life.  This is something that I definitely would try again.

Light up a candle to calm your mind and spirit and let all your problems sink away into the bottom of the bath tub.

GO OUTSIDE - Nowadays, teenagers are all crammed inside their little room with nothing but their phones beeping away, their computers or laptops clicking away. Make time to cherish yourself and give yourself a break in between your hectic life, head outside for a couple of minutes and go for a 20 minute stroll along the footpath.

Hello February

Some days, things just don’t seem to be heading the right way. You forget to do your homework, feed the cat, or worse…forget to brush your hair that morning. Feeling like one of these few things could ruin your whole day?
Reality check, nobody’s perfect.
Another month, another 4 weeks, another 28 days, another 672 hours, another 40320 minutes… you get the point. It’s all just another new month called February.  But what you do with it is entirely up to you.
You control your life and your actions not anyone else. That’s why this month, take a small risk and take a baby step into something incredible for yourself and go rock climbing, camping, skydiving something extreme that will literally make you scream “I WANT MY MUUMMMY!”
During this month something can happen that will change your life, just one tiny event that you won't even see coming, something so small but deadly can change your whole perspective of life. It can happen tomorrow, next week or in two years.
But let’s get back on track with this new month, fresh in mind and everything. Why not start a change now in your life, it’s never too late. The sooner you start the better.

HOW TO STAY HAPPY THIS MONTH:

SMILE&LAUGH- Even when you’re going through a rough patch in your life, a small laugh here and there can lighten and warm the heart even though your feelings and moods say another thing. Laughing is contagious and it won’t kill you to smile.

EXERCISE- Being lazy this month is a big no no, get off the chair and pull on those running shoes and take a jog to the nearby park. Even a small ten minute walk from school to home can really make a difference.

STAY POSITIVE- Thinking and acting in a positive manner can help boost the inner soul and clear the mind. Don't forget about your posture!

Enjoy this February, thanks for reading.
